Hooray! It's finally here! RED RIBBON WEEK!
*Hopefully you received a flyer last week with all of the details about our week of fun saying No to Drugs and Violence.
Just a couple of reminders. . .
**MONDAY, OCT. 12- Steve James Assembly and Family Concert.
The assembly starts at 2 and parents are welcome to come and watch. If you want to come about 20 minutes early, you might catch us as we have a red balloon release. Each student and teacher will have a balloon with our school pledge to say No to Drugs and Violence inside of it. We also put our school's email address on it so hopefully our balloons will make it to people who will be willing to share our pledge and send us an email.
The family concert starts at 7 pm. Please have your child there by 6:45 so he/she can be ready to perform! It's going to be a fantastic night of entertainment. We hope to see you there!
**TUESDAY, OCT. 13 Family Night @ Noodles & Co.
All you have to do is go to Noodles & Co. on State St., order to dine in or dine out, & say you are with Liberty Elementary. They will give us 25% of the sales for the night and the restaurant will be decorated with artwork by our students.
**Check the sidebar for updated info about the Dress Up Days.
It's going to be a week of fun and excitement! Don't forget to turn in your coloring/poster contest entries by Monday the 12th.
**School Pictures will be on Tuesday, Oct. 13th**
We have changed this day to Boot Day so please do not wear hats today! :)
**This week is also National School Lunch week so come and have lunch with your kids! We have a great lunch staff who make awesome lunches so we hope you can join your kids for lunch!
