Next week is Red Ribbon Week!
"USE YOUR NOODLE! DON'T USE DRUGS!"
A flyer will be sent home this week with all of the information about the activities we have planned. Please watch for that.
*We are having a coloring/poster contest. K-3 grades will be coloring a triangular piece of paper that is attached to the Red Ribbon Week flyers. 4-6 grades can make posters. Each paper/poster will need to be based on our theme for the week. You are welcome to use noodles to decorate them. We ask that the posters be half-sized poster boards please. This way we will be able to display all of the entries. Please make sure your child writes his/her name and teacher's name on the back of the paper/poster.
**ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE ON MONDAY 12th.
NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED**

*On Monday, Oct 12, we are having a very fun assembly and family concert. Entertainer, Steve James, will be facilitating both events. His website is www.somethinggoodinc.com.
Each grade has been practicing a song to perform at the assembly & concert.
The assembly will be at 2 pm and the family concert will be at 7 pm.
We encourage everyone to attend the family concert.
The kids have been practicing hard to get ready for these events. It will be a fun evening for the whole family. We hope to see you there!
On Tuesday, Oct. 13, we are having a family night at Noodles & Co from 5-9 pm.
You can eat at the restaurant or order to go. If you tell them your from Liberty Elementary, they will give the school 25% of the sales that night. Noodles & Co is a fun, family-oriented restaurant and they have been very supportive of our school and Red Ribbon Week. So turn off the oven and crockpot and join us for dinner at Noodles & Co.

**It is also National School Lunch Week from Oct 12-16. We hope you will be able to join your child for lunch one of those days.**
